About this site
Ward66.co.za is an independent community information project for Ward 66 residents.
What this site is for
To give residents fast, sourced answers about local matters, to make source documents easy to find, and to collect residents’ questions and concerns.
The election period
During the 2026 Local Government Elections period, this site includes clearly labelled sections about Clint Collins, who is standing as the Africa Restoration Alliance (ARA) candidate for Ward 66. Those sections are marked “Election 2026” and use the campaign’s pink colour and ARA artwork. Statements in them are his own account, views and proposals, and are attributed to him.
After the election
The intention is for Ward66.co.za to become a non-partisan community portal, whatever the election outcome, built with local young people learning web development, content and digital production. These features are planned and are not yet operating.
How we handle sources
- Every document is labelled by type: official City decision, email correspondence, association publication, candidate material, resident testimony or public record.
- Official decisions are quoted, not paraphrased, where precision matters.
- Resident testimony is personal observation, not measured evidence, and is only quoted with documented consent.
- Documents containing personal information are not published until a privacy review is complete.
